The first step to enrolling is to complete an enrolment waitlist application form.
- Enrolment waitlist application form: Submit this form to be considered for enrolment.
- Waitlist: If the days or rooms you need are full, your child will remain on the waitlist.
- Fees: There is no fee to apply or be placed on the waitlist.
After you submit your application, we will review it. If a place is available, you’ll receive an offer.
Before you enrol
Before enrolling your child, it's helpful to understand your options and available resources.
- Learn about kinder programs in Victoria, including eligibility and the benefits of early learning.
- Find information in your language to better understand kinder, childcare, and family support.
This information will help you make informed decisions about your child’s early education.
Step 1: Submit waitlist application
Complete an enrolment application form to be considered for a place.
This helps the centre to determine if a place is available.
Information required
Provide basic details like your child’s name, date of birth, address, preferred days of care, and start date.
You’ll also need to share any relevant priority of access information. This includes if your child:
- is Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- is a refugee or asylum seeker
- is in out-of-home care
- has a disability
- has a sibling at the centre.
We need this information to review and prioritise the application according to our priority of access policy.
Step 2: Assessment and offer
After we receive your application, we will review it to consider:
- whether your child meets any priority enrolment criteria, and
- which days are available.
Enrolment offers
If your application is successful, you will receive an offer to enrol your child.
Waitlisting
If your application is not immediately successful, your child will remain on the waitlist.
Step 3: Complete the enrolment process
Accepting an enrolment
If you accept an offer, you’ll need to provide more information for your child to start at the centre. This may include:
- Child Care Subsidy (CCS) details, including your Customer Reference Number (CRN)
- child details for CCS
- bank details for direct debit payments
- consent for direct debit payment of fees
- medical and allergy information
- immunisation history*
- other relevant details like cultural requirements, dietary requirements, languages, court orders.
Confirmation of enrolment
Once you have completed this step, we will send you confirmation that your child is now enrolled. They must be fully enrolled before starting at the centre.
* The Government’s No Jab No Play laws require all children to be age-appropriately immunised before enrolment can be confirmed. Offers of enrolment at all our centres depend on families providing evidence of immunisation status or medical exemption.
